[Case Study on Mold Prevention for Buildings and Products] Airborne Dust Cleaning Device

We will introduce a case where collecting airborne mold spores prevented the growth of mold in buildings and products.

We will introduce examples of mold prevention for buildings and products using the airborne dust cleaner "QleanAir FS70/FS30 Standard." Mold thrives in environments with humidity and nutrients, where mold spores can adhere and reproduce. By capturing airborne mold spores with this product, we can prevent the growth of mold in buildings and on products. 【Example Details】 ■ Target Product: Airborne Dust Cleaner "QleanAir FS70/FS30 Standard" ■ Mold Prevention for Buildings and Products ■ Preventing mold growth in buildings and on products by capturing airborne mold spores *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[Example] Prevention of malfunction due to dust accumulation on automatic racks.

We will introduce a case where we collected fine dust in factories and warehouses that cannot be captured by dust collectors, preventing malfunctions caused by dust accumulation in automatic racks!

We would like to introduce a case where the use of the airborne dust cleaning device "QleanAir FS70 Standard" prevented malfunctions caused by dust accumulation in automated racks. When dust accumulates on automated racks used in logistics facilities and warehouses, it can lead to malfunctions or stoppages of the racks. This product captures fine dust particles in factories and warehouses that cannot be removed by conventional dust collectors. By collecting airborne dust, it helps prevent malfunctions and stoppages of automated racks. Additionally, it reduces the accumulation of dust on stored items, thereby minimizing the need for cleaning. We will propose an appropriate airflow treatment based on the conditions at the site.

[Example] Collecting dust in the heat treatment and shot blasting process at a steelworks.

Even in hard environments such as factories, options are available to capture fine dust in factories and warehouses that cannot be collected by dust collectors! It is effective against airborne dust.

In the process of removing the black scale (black rust) from the surface of carbon steel (general steel) after heat treatment (tempering), "shot blasting" is performed. Although the main equipment is equipped with a dust collection system, it cannot completely eliminate the invisible dust, and within a day, the workers' masks become completely black. The size of this workspace is 120 square meters with a height of 5 meters, resulting in a volume of 600 cubic meters. The QleanAir FS 70 Standard (suspended dust cleaner) has an airflow processing capacity of 3000 cubic meters per hour, capturing suspended dust and supplying air that has been filtered. With the introduction of one unit, the air is replaced every 12 minutes. As a result, after the QleanAir FS 70 Standard was put into operation, it was confirmed that the amount of suspended dust was reduced by approximately 50% compared to before its operation. Additionally, by equipping the large intake opening at the front of the suspended dust collector with an optional pad filter, it is possible to reduce the deterioration of the main filter. QleanAir Scandinavia's suspended dust cleaners offer options tailored to customer applications, even in harsh environments, and can solve issues related to suspended dust.

[Case Study] Measures against airborne dust generated during cleaning with air blowers

Collects fine dust in factories and warehouses that cannot be captured by dust collectors! "Protects factory equipment from dust and reduces the frequency of cleaning."

When air blowing is performed for the purpose of reducing cleaning time in equipment, although the target objects may become clean, the dust and particles blown away by the air will disperse in that area. As a result, they may adhere to other equipment or processing machines, potentially causing malfunctions or affecting product yield rates. Many customers likely face the challenge of insufficient cleaning due to reasons such as a lack of personnel. By installing Clean Air Scandinavia's "FS 70 Standard," airborne dust throughout the factory can be collected with filters. This helps to reduce the adherence of airborne dust blown away by air to other equipment and processing machines, and decreases the accumulation of dust and particles in hard-to-reach high areas, ultimately reducing the frequency of cleaning. Depending on the size of the target area, measurements taken at customer sites have shown that the amount of airborne dust in the range of 0.3 to 1.0 µm has decreased by approximately 75% compared to when the equipment is operational. Additionally, we will propose appropriate airflow rates and types of filters based on the conditions of the site.

Prevention of malfunctions due to dust accumulation and intrusion in production equipment.

Introducing examples of reducing dust accumulation and intrusion in production equipment to prevent malfunctions.

We will introduce a case where the use of the airborne dust cleaning machine "QleanAir FS70 Standard" reduced dust accumulation and intrusion into production equipment, preventing malfunctions. When airborne dust generated in the production site accumulates or intrudes into production equipment, it can cause malfunctions or shutdowns. By collecting airborne dust with this product, we can prevent equipment malfunctions and shutdowns. [Example] Measures against airborne dust in a woodworking workshop

Introducing examples of measures taken against airborne dust in woodworking workshops. Collecting fine dust in factories and warehouses that cannot be captured by dust collectors!

We would like to introduce a case where the "QleanAir FS70 Standard" floating dust cleaning machine was used to capture fine dust that could not be removed by dust collectors in a woodworking workshop as a measure against airborne dust. Even in woodworking workshops where local exhaust systems, overall ventilation, and dust collectors are in use, there may still be issues with airborne dust. By capturing airborne dust with this product and improving the air environment, a safer workplace can be achieved. Additionally, it helps to prevent dust accumulation on production equipment, leading to reduced maintenance and prevention of malfunctions. Similar issues may also be present in factories producing paper products (such as paper and cardboard) where paper dust is generated. Depending on the conditions of the site, we will propose appropriate handling airflow and types of filters.
